Embed live traffic cameras on your site

One iframe puts one, two or four cameras from a mountain pass, bridge, tunnel, highway, city or airport on your page: the latest still from each, with how long ago the feed was last seen live. It is free, loads no script, sets no cookies, and the pictures are the agency's own, credited. It fits a road-report page, a ski or trail site, a community news site or a post about a storm.

What it shows

  • Four cameras from the place, live ones first, or one or two if you prefer (see below). Each refreshes on its source's own schedule.
  • A title row with the place and how many of its cameras are live right now.
  • A label per camera: "live" with the time since the last confirmed frame, or "last live" with how long ago.
  • A credit line linking the place's page. Clicking a camera opens its page on LiveTrafficCam.
  • Only cameras whose agency allows the image to be shown. Where an agency allows linking only, nothing appears.

How to embed

Open the page for the place you want and copy the snippet under its cameras. The general shape, with Snoqualmie Pass as the example:

<iframe src="https://livetrafficcam.com/embed/snoqualmie-pass/" title="Snoqualmie Pass traffic cameras" width="100%" height="560" loading="lazy" style="border:0;max-width:720px"></iframe>
<p>Live Snoqualmie Pass cameras by <a href="https://livetrafficcam.com/traffic-cameras/washington/snoqualmie-pass/">LiveTrafficCam</a></p>

The address inside src is https://livetrafficcam.com/embed/ plus the last part of the place's page address. Height 560 fits four cameras two across on a desktop column; on a phone they stack and the frame scrolls.

For fewer cameras add the number to the address: https://livetrafficcam.com/embed/snoqualmie-pass/1/ shows the one most recently confirmed live, https://livetrafficcam.com/embed/snoqualmie-pass/2/ shows two side by side. Suggested heights: 330 for one camera at a 400 px column, 300 for two across a 720 px column.

Rules

  • Keep the credit line and its link next to the frame.
  • Do not put your own overlays or ads over the cameras. The agency's attribution stays visible.
  • The frames are stills, not video, and nothing is recorded. The place's page has the video where there is any, and the full camera list.
  • If a camera goes dark, the widget shows when it was last live instead.
