Closures and reported events

Closure on SR-504: Beginning Monday, April 27th, 2026, until further notice: Both directions of SR 504 at milepost 45.0 remain CLOSED at the winter gate for construction to rebuild the bridge and roadway. Construction is expected to be complete in spring 2027. On Sunday, May 14, 2023, a debris slide washed out the Spirit Lake Outlet Bridge and a portion of the highway. The road has been closed since. For the safety of all travelers, there is no access beyond the gate.
Closure: SR 165 is closed at the Carbon River/Fairfax Bridge to all vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians until further notice. The closure means there is no access across the bridge to Mount Rainier National Park Mowich Lake and Carbon River, or USFS lands. There are no alternate routes open to the public. Note that third party apps such as Google Maps and Apple Maps can show routes that cross private lands with locked gates not open to the public.
Closure: Lane Closures on Sullivan Rd: Southbound Sullivan Road is reduced to one lane at Sullivan Park. in Spokane Valley, until about November 3, 2026. Any lane closures for this project will be short and intermittent to finish up detail work. Minor delays.
Closure: Roadwork on SR 27 at milepost 87.46 between Mirabeau Pkwy and Pinecroft, near Trent Elementary, from October 12, 2026, until approximately October 30, 2026. Watch for new traffic revisions; motorists are now using the new roundabout.
Closure on SR-290: SR 290 Eastbound at milepost 8.43 at Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, watch for new traffic revisions; motorists are now using the new roundabout.
Closure on US-395: Intermittent Lane Closures on US 395 in both directions from milepost 165.8, Whitworth Dr, to milepost 167.7, Little Spokane River, just north of Spokane, for utility work, beginning at 7:00 am on October 12, 2026 until about 5:00 pm on October 30, 2026. Possible delays or stopped traffic Monday through Friday, during daylight hours.
Closure: Lane Closure with temporary alternating traffic signals, for bridge deck repairs on SR 25 at milepost 114 near Northport beginning at 3:23 pm on October 12, 2026 until November 2, 2026. Expect short delays.
